Hello!!! My Name Is Ndeye Oumy Fall

Welcome to my  Digital Portfolio. I am currently a freshman at CCNY City College as an undecided major but hopefully switching as a psychology BS major. As a writer One of the most meaningful thing to me is Exploring and analyzing, in writing and reading, a variety of genres and rhetorical situations. During these past few months, I have been introduced to new techniques of writing and reading that required me to use tools I never considered before for example drafting, revising and editing has helped me tremendously improve my work, and with the help from my professor I was able to write essays without it feeling forced. Genre and rhetorical situations are very significant because For someone that has never used these tools it allowed me to analyze and dabble between creative writing of genres which can be either a short film, poetry, play, essay, short story, magazine, or even a novel. In order for all this to happen to determine who your audience are is the main thing to examine as a writer which is where rhetorical situation comes in handy it can be described in five parts: purpose, audience, topic, tone, and context they all work together to make sure you get your point across properly.
